Meet your Sustainable Florist

Hello! I’m Victoria, owner and founder of Victoria Rose Florals, a studio-based florist in Stretford, Manchester.

My focus and passion is in using seasonal and British-grown flowers and foliage, often including mindfully foraged elements to create my signature wild and romantic style.

I specialise in carefully curated packages for micro and small scale weddings, personal and bespoke natural funeral flowers, creative and seasonal workshops and gift bouquets.

Why Sustainable and seasonal?

I aim to be sustainable and eco-friendly wherever possible - never using floral foam or single-use plastics and avoiding the use of any materials or practices which may harm the earth. Being led by the seasons means taking a more eco conscious approach, avoiding the use of imported blooms and using exclusively British-grown.

I feel strongly that applying these philosophies does not compromise the beauty and quality of my creations, but enhances them manifold.

What makes my flowers a little different to the rest?

I’m continuously inspired by the seasons, from the first joyful daffodils in spring, to the blousy colourful blooms of summer, the berries and auburn tones of autumn, through to the verdant evergreens of winter. Using British-grown flowers and foliage allows me to provide you with the very best of the seasons' offerings.

Whether it’s the lichen-covered branches of autumn or swaying summer grasses, responsibly foraged elements give my work a unique elegance.

Some ways in which I endeavour to be a sustainable business:
- Using British-grown flowers and foliage - if ever importing items checking their eco-credentials beforehand
- All packaging is printed with vegan-friendly ink on recyclable and home-compostable paper and starch-based 'cellophane'. I never use single-use plastics
- Composting all green matter and recycling all else
- Banking with an ethical bank

WILD

Abundant texture and unusual, often carefully forged, elements allow my work to never feel formal or stiff. Expect wild, romantic and beautiful.

HAND-PICKED

I choose to use British-grown flowers and foliage, supporting small growers across the country. An exciting range of ever-changing varieties, means everything I make is unique.
